Canary Island Water Park Top Tips
These top tips are applicable for any of the water parks in the Canary Island.
Book your tickets in advance
Booking your water park tickets in advance often gives you a better deal, including free transport from your accommodation. It also gives you fast track entry to the park, so you can skip the entrance queues. Ideal on a hot and busy day at the attraction.
Take plenty of Sun Protection
Although the Canary Island Waterparks offer shaded areas, you will very likely be spending a lot of time in the sun. The UV Index is generally high in The Canary Islands, especially in the summer, so it's easy to burn quickly. Take a good quality sun screen, sun hat, sun glasses and if needed something to cover your skin during the hottest parts of the day.
Swimwear and Towels
It sounds obvious, right, but make sure to take appropriate swimwear and towels. Some rides may have specific requirements, such as no loose items or jewelry.
Arrive Early
If you're making your own way to the water park then get there early and beat the arrival of the coaches. You will find you can get on more rides, multiple times, before the coach visitors arrive at the park and the queues get longer.
