For this reason, we've compiled a short blog detailing some of the best tours, day trips and excursions that provide accessibility for people with disabilities and wheelchairs.

If you live with a disability, of any nature, or rely on a wheelchair for mobility, it can be frustrating when restaurants, bars and excursions don't make it easy for you to enjoy your holiday. Lanzarote Boat Trips suitable for people living with disabilities

The good news is, that if you like boat trips, the larger catamarans are designed to be accessible to people with wheelchairs and there is plenty of space on deck to enjoy the experience of sailing around the Lanzarote coastline, taking in the views and enjoying the sun. On most of the Catamaran tours you'll also find a shaded area on the boat, so if the heat becomes and issue, you can simply move to a cooler area onboard.

Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park

Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park is one of the most popular things to do in Lanzarote. With a diverse range of animals, shows, entertainment and places to eat, it's also good to know that it takes accessibility very seriously. So if you're travelling with a wheelchair, don't worry about having any issues when you visit the park.

Lanzarote Water Parks

The Water Parks in Lanzarote cater for people with all disabilities, from access to toilets and dressing rooms that are adapted for people with reduced mobility and pool lifts.

Lanzarote Trips to Fuerteventura

If you fancy a day out in Fuerteventura then you'll be pleased to know that it's just a shtort trip across the water from the Playa Blanca harbour. There are a number of ferry services that operate between Playa Blanca (Lanzarote) and Corralejo (Fuerteventura) but we find the best one for wheelchair access and comfort is the Fred Olsen Fast Ferry.

Lanzarote Taxi Services for guests that rely on a Wheelchair

If you need help getting around, or to and from an attraction, there are specially adapted taxis for people who rely on a wheelchair. When you call to book the taxi just let them know that you live with disabilities and have a wheelchair to ensure they send the right vehicle.

Lanzarote Bars and Restaurants with disabled access

Whilst not all Bars and Restaurant are able to provide easy access to guests with Wheelchairs there are a large number that are on street level that do. And with the majority of these providing outdoor seating it's really easy to everyone to enjoy a meal at their favourite diner, or a drink at the bar of their choice.
